This largest global experiment was measured by – among others – Professor Brendan Burchell from the University of Cambridge, one of the researchers that leads the trial, and a keynote speaker at the WORKsHOW2025 conference organized by Tina Sobocińska, HR4Future.
“Results of field trials of the 4-day workweek in the UK confirmed that 71% had reduced levels of burnout, 60% found an increased ability to combine paid work with care responsibilities, 62% reported it was easier to combine work with social life, companies’ revenue rose by 1.4% on average, the vast majority of companies reported sustained or improved productivity and performance.”
“For anyone interested in the latest research on working time reduction and the four-day week, you are welcome to become a member of the Working Time Reduction Research Network, www.WTR-RN.com”- Professor Brendan Burchell invites all leaders, change agents or researchers.
